The liberty School of Music (SOM) was one of the most geometrically complex projects on the market today.  It required many years of steel detailing/modeling experience.  The structure consisted of a radial auditorium and conically based roof system supported by trusses weighing from 10 to 50 tons each.  The circular and sloped base theater seating, formed with steel plate assemblies, added a high degree of modeling, fabrication and erection complexity.
